Somerset Stats

Our aim is to achieve lasting reductions in collisions and casualties on Somerset roads. 

Our first priority is to reduce casualties in line with the Government targets and, by the end of 2010, achieve a  

 

  • 35 per cent reduction in fatal and serious road casualties
  • 50 per cent reduction in child road casualties
  • maintain slights casualty at 2002 - 2004 average rate



 


  
What we do
The tables below show the casualty statistics for Somerset and progress towards
the Government’s casualty reduction targets for 2010 compared with the average for 1994-98.
